The OCC Club Jam is back this year on Sunday, July 4th!
In 1943, the Outrigger Canoe Club was planning a water carnival to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the new Clubhouse when Club President Walter Macfarlane passed away unexpectedly. The Canoe Races were named for him, and, as they say – the rest is history.
This year, the Macfarlane Regatta has been canceled again, so the Club’s Athletic Committee created athletic events that pay homage to the early water carnival traditions and celebrates the sports of old Hawai’i - the 2021 4th of July Club Jam, with everything canoes and fun prizes for the winners.
